7月8日 Bear valley dog story..and music to relax byBear Valley was sooo nice! I am ALL about Alpine Hiking..it puts me in my "happy place" for sure! Amy and jennelle caught their first fish ever. While they were fishing the dogs were off on their own adventure so I decided to take a solo walk when suddenly i hear jazzy yelping while splashing in water! I never knew I could boulder so fast!!! But sure enough...he had sliped off a granite face into the lake and couldn't out! I tried to save him while hanging MYSELF over a ledge, but with no luck. Time was running out as Jazzy's claws were bleeding and leaving blood dripping down the granite and into the water....when I DID reach his collar I was strangling him so i had to let go. Finally some people fishing from their canoe in the middle of the lake noticed the tragic struggle and paddled over to me and were able to "shoo" azzy to shore. (......sorry morning fishermen...."who the hell IS that lady over there????). All ended well, jazz thanked me with a big kiss and we went on our merry way!

 ......Well......back to reality. I am in the middle of my summer semester which of course is condensed and doing WAAAY too much procrastinating! ...such as trying out the kayak, in my POOL.....hey;just working on my technique.
